Frontline PCB Solutions announces the release of version 2.13 of its InPlanTM engineering system on January 1, 2007.

InPlan 2.13 shortens implementation time and delivers significant performance improvements to Traveler generation.

New capabilities include engineering process material cutting via automatic cutting diagrams and dedicated cutting tools; engineering fixtures including the Traveler, BOM and tools for drilling and routing fixture materials; and enabling operators to choose a new Auto Stackup solution from the generated solutions list, without rerunning Auto Stackup.

Highlights of InPlan 2.13 include:

• Enhanced operational efficiency through guided flows and Traveler performance improvements
• New functionality for custom material cutting design and fixture engineering
• Automatic Stackup updates with one material family per solution
• Usability enhancements including alphanumeric sorting of attribute values
• Implementation tools such as auto completion in variables tables type and expressions in the propagation editor
